The Melkerij is a modernist architectural gem, serving as both a residence and a gathering space for individuals working towards personal and professional goals.

Located in the quaint village of Veltem-Beisem (just a very short distance from Leuven and close to Brussels), The Melkerij is an ideal retreat for those seeking a place to unwind, work on their aspirations, and be inspired by the creative and artistic environment

Lisa and Luis purchased this property in 2020 when Lisa was pregnant. Our 3-year-old son, Raffi, was born at the end of December in the year of the pandemic. Luis is a painter and has his studio in the residence. Together with Lisa, he runs de Melkerij and launched Gallery 22a. Lisa is a writer, loves photography and acting, yoga enthusiast, and enjoys bringing people together. We love traveling and exploring new places with our little son.
